It is interesting that both Germany and Mexico have the same mean years of schooling but Germany has a much Higher HDI.

I think it's cool how Mexico's life expectancy is almost identical to the US but Mexico's Gross National Income is significantly lower then the US by nearly 30,000$.

Germany and Iceland both have the same HDI. It is interesting that countries from Northern Europe all have high HDIs.

I find it interesting that Iceland is a lot better than the U.S in many ways, but still has a lower population. Do you know why that is?

it is interesting seeing how similar Sweden is with Iceland with only 0.003 difference In HDI and all of the other factors being really close together.

Germany and Iceland both have the same HDI which is very interesting. Their life expectancy, years of schooling, and GNI are slightly different, but still very similar.

it is interesting that in the main facts about Germany are a small bit lower in all ways but mean years of schooling is 1.7 years bigger. with such a small change it makes the HDI go up 0.003 above Swedens.

There is a common trend among European countries and their HDI scores. I have yet to see within these blog posts a European country that didn't have a high score.

It is interesting to see how the HDI, life expectancies and years of schooling in Icelandic, Western European and Australian countries are nearly exactly the same while theses countries are spead so far apart.

The human development index in Costa Rica is 0.974. The life expectancy in Costa Rica is 79.83 years. The average amount of schooling in Costa Rica is about 2 years with an expected 6 years of schooling. The Gross National income of Costa Rica is 15736.81 USD which is expected to rise to around 16770 by 2020. The HDI in Costa Rica has risen a lot in the most recent years. Nicoya Peninsula, which is on Costa Rica’s west coast, has some of the highest amount of poverty in the country. Costa Rica has the 63 highest human development index in the world. Income is the most important indicator for countries to improve their overall HDI score because the more money a country makes the better its doing.
