}There are proposals to limit terms and/or ages for Supreme Court justices. Some argue that all justices be appointed for 15 years, with a cap on age 75 and a grandfather (so to speak) clause for the present members of the court. Others argue for 18 years with no age limit. Some scholars argue the framers never intended for lifetime appointments. Others argue that we are meant to evolve as a democracy so change for the sake of innovation is good. Certainly, there are other ideas as well.
Write a well-reasoned 300 word response to the concept of term limits for justices, explaining why you support or oppose it. Include specific research to support your argument, citing specific reasoning presented by specific individuals. Find three job openings within the federal bureaucracy that you would be interested in applying for after college. You may chose a position that requires a bachelor's degree, or a master's degree if you are planning on the latter, but you must pick a position that does not require significant experience. Try to find jobs in places where you are interested in living. Include in one post the title, description, and basic requirements for each position, AND why it interests you.

Comment on the post of one other classmate (100 words min). 2 posts total It’s early, but candidates are starting to announce or indicate they might announce their bid for the presidency in 2020. This is not new. Most presidential elections involve numerous candidates, especially from the party not currently in the White House. While it is very difficult to beat an incumbent, presidents also are subject to running in primaries against others from their party before moving on to the general election.
Using hard news sources, research to find out more about who these potential candidates are and what kind of experience they have. Paragraph 1: Cite at least four likely candidates.
